Girls: Which book would you choose?
OK, I may sound like a bookworm (I’m not), but I have gotten into a lot of reading lately. I’m choosing between 4 books: Starry Night by Robin Jones Gunn, Sleepover Friends: Patti’s Secret Wish by Susan Saunders, the Cupcake Queen by Heather Hepler, and Trading Hearts by Susan Blake….. Google them.. lol Which one of the four would you choose.
If you choose none of the above, what would you recommend?
I don’t know how old you are, but I used to LOVE Sleepover Friends when I was around 9 or 10, maybe 11. There’s a whole bunch of books in the series. Around that time I also really liked The Babysitters’ Club books by Ann M. Martin and the Nancy Drew books by Carolyn Keene. The first book of The Babysitters’ Club is Kristy’s Great Idea and the first Nancy Drew book is called The Secret of the Old Clock. I also loved the Trixie Belden books! I’m not sure how easy it will be to find them now – I got old hand-me-down copies that had originated with my oldest aunt. Anyways, the first one of those is called The Secret of the Mansion by Julie Campbell.
