Whenever I cannot find the stand I want, I make one out of plates and platters and drinking glasses or wine glasses. How??
Go to a candle shop and buy those dime size dots used to keep candles in the candle holders. They are pliable in your hand and can be shaped like a worm to be placed on the top and bottom of a glass so the glass sticks to a bottom plate and a top plate, making a stand that is sturdy and attractive.
When I cannot find what I want, I make it. AND, this WORKS. I have done this with plates and platters I have bought and also used my vintage plate collection to create a great dessert tower. So, I see no reason why you cannot do this for cup cakes, too. If all else fails, try it.
T-shirt Packaging
A major factor in the t-shirt selling business presentation. According to a poll conducted on a t-shirt forum, most people just use the generic plastic bags or whatever mailer the product will fit in. It’s no surprise that barely anybody uses unusual packaging or customization to set their product apart. It’s
simply overlooked.
Examples of great packaging are Johnny Cupcakes and Oddica. On one instance, Johnny Cupcakes t-shirts came packaged in cake mix boxes, something that fits the theme of his company. Be creative when coming up with packaging for your t-shirts.
So keep in mind that presentation does alot for marketing to your customers. It’s fun and cool, and your shop could definitely use the individuality a unique package gives. Remember, impressive packaging can go a long way!
