Traditional cake vs. Cupcake cake?
What do you think of the two? Would you rather see a traditional cake when you go to a wedding… or would it be ok if you just had a cute cupcake instead?

It is whatever the couple prefers! I went to a wedding earlier this month where they had a beautiful traditional cake … but it didn’t taste very good. My fiance and I just ordered our wedding cupcakes earlier this week from a local cupcake store. The frosting to cake ratio is usually a lot better (I know that’s what I like!) and you can have them in different colors. The cupcakes you posted look a little boring. Check out the site for where we got ours for some really cute ideas. But if a traditional cake is more your style, go for that! For more formal weddings, I would say cake, for a more informal event, cupcakes rokk.

P.S. I don’t get the whole “cutting the cake thing”. I guess it’s a tradition, but I think my fiance and I will just feed each other a cupcake (no mess!). We like to buck tradition … plus the serving knife and all that is just an extra expense!
