Kiddie parties should be lively and full of fun activities. Youngsters nowadays are so addicted to simply playing online games. What a pity that these children miss out on other fun activities. It’s high time to get their creative juices pumping! Turn off those computers, stuff them in the closet and start a party that is a sure hit. Here are some fun and easy crafts ideas.
1) Homemade party cupcakes
Purchase or bake plain cupcakes. Let the children make their own toppings by supplying them icing in a variety of colors like blue, red, white and yellow. To make the cupcakes unique, add more toppings like sugar flowers, chopped nuts, chocolate chips or fresh fruits. What’s best is that they get to eat or bring home their cupcake creations. It’s best that you arrange a sizeable work space for this as things could get messy.
2) Eco-friendly gardening
Encourage youngsters to participate in a gardening activity. Just prepare small pots, some painting supplies like paint and paint brushes, soil, seedling, plants or flower buds, transplanting trowels and kid-sized gloves. Make available a work area where the kids can paint the pots with their own designs. Show the children how to plant the plants and how to take care of them.
